Austin-based but Madrid-born, filmmaker Mario Troncoso will screen his narrative short film "Clowns Never Lie" in the Short Film Corner at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

STORY: A schizophrenic street performer, who dreams of performing for a real audience, struggles with his daily reality. Afraid of human contact, his only relationship is with his dog until an eccentric girl (Wilhelmina Brown's TERESA NICHTA) changes his routine.
